QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CONNECTION
Read this before you connect.
Do I ever type my broker password into this site?
No. Connecting hands off to SnapTrade's own portal, and for brokers that support it you finish on your broker's own login page. Your credentials never pass through paydossier.com.
What does PAYDOSSIER_ actually receive?
An encrypted, read-only token issued by SnapTrade after you authorize the connection. We never see or store your broker username, password, or multi-factor codes.
Can PAYDOSSIER_ place a trade or move money?
No. The connection scope is read-only — it permits reading holdings, balances, and transaction history. It does not permit placing, cancelling, or modifying an order, or moving cash or securities.
What happens if I connect and never buy a season?
Your evidence — trade count, window, benchmark — stays visible for the 7-day preview. If you don't purchase, your SnapTrade user and everything synced from it are deleted when the preview expires. A one-way suppression identifier is kept for 12 months only to prevent repeated free previews. You can also disconnect and ask for a hard delete at any time.
